Update on BWF Baby Simon!

Many of you may remember when Shannon White, a BWF Mama for a long time, had her preemie baby via cesarean section. We were all so nervous for her and poured out our prayers and support. Shannon sent in an update on baby Simon and a picture too for all of you wonderful women that embraced her with love and compassion! This little man is absolutely adorable!~Mrs. BWF

My preemie who was born way back in February via nearly-emergency c/s. SO many of the ladies of BWF supported me through that rather rough patch, and I want to share him so they can see how he’s doing.

Simon in his new (to him) exersaucer. 7 months, 1 week, 2 days actual age 4 months, 3 weeks, 4 days corrected/adjusted age.

He’s been exclusively breastfed straight from the tap now for 5 months, 4 days, and we’re still going strong! He’s the talkiest, busiest little boy I’ve ever had. He had a developmental assessment last week and he’s right on time with his corrected age, and even a little ahead in some things and more on his actual age. We’re so blessed that he’s done so well, especially given the crappy start he had. God has blessed us tremendously. ~Shannon
