She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Isaiah, who was 9lbs 2oz and 22.5 inches on September 2, 2011 at 4:32pm.

That was beautiful! Made me cry, I am expecting my second any day (40w2d) and I am so excited to go through the whole birth again and for my son to be there this time too.

This is such a beautiful video. It is inspiring and loving and should be shown to all the people who do not understand about home birth. A hospital birth is never this uninterrupted and calm.

What I want for ALL women is that they educate themselves about birth by reading “good” birth books (not the fear based kind with the “catchy” title) and watch videos exactly like this one. Also they should attend meetings where others who have gone on this journey can share their experiences and their joy.

I am a doula and childbirth educator and also had a midwife assisted homebirth in the water on 9-2-11! I also was surrounded by a wonderful group of supportive women (all midwives or doulas themselves) as I labored and safely delivered my baby in water. It was a HBA2C so obviously a very different, wonderful, love-filled experience compared to my other births.
