Alison sent me this beautiful picture of her nursing her surrogate baby she birthed for a couple.
She says, “This photo was taken when my third surrogate son was 2 days old. His daddies asked that I nurse him while we were in the hospital together. I now exclusively pump and ship my milk to him.”

Wow. This brings me to tears. Part of me wants to be a surrogate and I think in this context I could do it if I could nurse and pump milk for the baby afterward. <3 My partner doesn't like to have to put up with me when I'm pregnant though it seems unlikely I'll get ever to to do.
