Planned Homebirth, Hospital Transfer {Photo story}

Here are a few of my birth pics…

My water had broken earlier in the day and while out walking to get labor going I saw a puddle… Hehe!

In hospital where we transferred after laboring for 12 hrs and pushing for 4 1/2. Sweet baby Otto was asynclitic and we could not get him to move. We tried EVERYTHING!  I requested the transfer and a vacuum assist because I was pooped! The irony was he was a peanut at 6 lb 15oz!

    I had a similar story, 19 hours at home, 3.5 pushing, no progress whatsoever regardless of everything we tried. Baby was asynclitic and we transferred and he was delivered with the help of an epidural and forceps. I was worried my second birth would follow suit, that maybe I just wasn’t pushing right or something, but it was entirely different. 6 hours and only 17 minutes of pushing, and he was slightly bigger than his older brother. Congrats on your beautiful baby and for doing what you needed to do to bring him into the world 🙂
