3 Rad Weeks of NO Facebook & Being in the Picture(s)

by January Harshe on November 9, 2012

I recently blogged about being in the picture. In the last few weeks I have blogged more, been on the computer less (yep) and have shared more pictures of my life (well a few is more than none!).

I have been forcing myself to be in the pictures with my kids sometimes instead of always behind behind the camera {i.e. iPhone}. ย It may be about aย 1 to 249 ratio, but still. Progress.

Along with wanting to inform and support women in their birthing choices, I want to inspire moms to back off and/orย get off Facebook and to be in the pictures with their kids! So in keeping with that…here’s the proof. We’ve been having fun, I’ve been a happier and calmer mom again and I’m taking tons of pictures {and guest appearing in some of them!}.

Does this count?

No? Yum. OK, here ya go…

Do it…everyone else is. Well, maybe not…but the cool kids are! ๐Ÿ˜‰ If you do, email me about it and you may see your story on this blog!

For me, any time a Coke is in the picture I may as well be too, so it counts! I’m joining you in trying to be in the picture, but not in getting off FB for now. I need to get my laughs somehow!

I’m doing ten days of no Facebook starting tomorrow! I expect it will change my life and hopefully not leave me in tremors on the floor ๐Ÿ™‚
