Something Worth Seeing…Tattoos

Nataly, a long time BWF fan, knows that I love tattoos. Even though I don’t have any, I admire people who are confident enough to express themselves in such a drastic, artistic way. To not care what others think and do what they feel is right…well, I’m always a fan of that!

I also appreciate breaking stereotypes and that is what got me into posting so many tattoo pictures and posts. To show BWF moms and dads that are wonderful and loving parents, no matter what their style is! To me, this couple is absolutely beautiful.

I asked Nataly why? Why would her husband tattoo his whole body, including his face? I was so curious! She said that he just totally loves the art. He has a career (they own a motorcycle shop) that allows him to do everything he wants!

Mikee with his newborn baby girl, Sailor-Rose, completely in love.

With both mom and dad’s sleeved arms. Mom’s finger says “young love”.

Nataly says that anyone who has taken a chance to know Mikee, loves him for the sweet gentle teddy bear he is!

This little girl LOVES her tattooed daddy!

People are often fascinated by my husband.. so much that he’s asked to take pictures with people EVERYWHERE we go.”

I’ll admit it…I keep wanting to look again and again. Interesting, amazing, different, strong, mom, dad, family…are all words that come to mind. Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us!

LOVE THIS POST! My husband and I have quite a few tattoos each, and plan on getting many more. When I was telling someone I was finnaly comfortable enough to get Knuckle Tattoos, they immediately tried to talk me out of it… “What will your children say?” “How will you think other parents on the PTA will react?” “Wont you hate them when you are older?” To which I responded, “My children will grow up knowing its an art, and every tattoo I have is a story, some revolving around them. As for the PTA, I spent 6 years trying to figure out how to fit in with ‘normal'(aka, non inked) moms, and found that I never felt true to myself. If they feel my ink makes me a bad parents, then I dont want to be on the PTA board with them anyway. Ill start my own board…we will be the TPTA. (Tatted Parent Teacher Association) As far as hating them when I am older, How could I hate something that has given me a way to express myself? I love seeing parents with ink. Its makes me so happy!

Love your reply (TPTA) I also am a mother with tattoos, and I haven’t had any judgment that I have openly had to deal with yet, but my kids are older and I am not around those type of people much. My tattoos are pretty concealed most of the times, except in summer I guess. I am so glad that the world of tattoos is finally getting the positive exposure it deserves.

Does anyone know if this mama is still online? I used to follow her Instagram and it was amazing but I can’t remember the name anymore.
