Breastmilk Popsicle! Great for Teething!
“My daughter, Violet, would always get jealous watching her older brothers munch on popsicles. So I made her some boobsicles! I froze some breastmilk in one of those tiny bottles that came with my breast pump, used clothespin to hold a lollipop stick in place, and voila! She absolutely LOVED it!” ~Jessica Campbell

Ha! That is really cute. 🙂
I used to do this for my little one, but we used the mesh teethers so no big chunks could potentially break off and become a choking hazard. Otherwise, treating it like a popsicle is actually kind of dangerous.
Really wouldn’t it melt before it did any harm?
How fast does an ice cube melt? And are you really okay with your infant not breathing for 1-2 minutes while you’re waiting for a piece to melt?
Awesome!!!
Super cute pictures! I’m definitely gonna try this with the mesh fresh food feeder and freeze in a regular ice cube tray… such a great idea. thanks for sharing!
That is such a cool idea but how do you keep the breasts milk from seperating?
at what age did you start this? my son is 4 months old and is starting to teeth. he dosn’t really hold on to things yet though
That’s awesome! 🙂 I am going to try this whenever I start having children! 🙂 Thank you for this really great idea! 🙂
Can That Be Done With Formula Also?
This is a great idea its somthing I’m guna try with my new bub due in 3 wks.thanx for sharing..
Anybody know if you can do it with formula as I don’t Breastfeed unfortunately. X
Instead of trying this with formula, if you can’t or don’t bf then I would use barely sugar’d water
So great!
Such a genius idea – I’m going to give it a whirl with my munchkin who’s just started teething and having such a hard time with it…I’m hoping that familiar yummy taste will help…
Would love to repost this with pics if okay. We love this idea and want to share it with other cutie-kins who could benefit from this beautiful and brilliant idea. <3
